Biography

Mr. Castonguay is the Chief Investment Officer at Blue Bridge. Mr. Castonguay leads a team that builds investment portfolios using external investment mandates, manages a portfolio of private investments and is responsible for strategic and tactical asset allocation for international clients. Mr. Castonguay was also a member of the Board of Directors of Ivanhoé Cambridge Group between 2007 and 2015. Originally from Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec, Mr. Castonguay has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Quebec in Montreal and is a CFA charterholder. Prior to joining Blue Bridge, Mr. Castonguay was Senior Investment Manager, Pension Investments at Rio Tinto. He joined Rio Tinto Alcan in 2007 as manager, pension investments and since 2009, he was responsible of asset management for the North American Pension Plans of all business units of Rio Tinto. Prior to Rio Tinto, he was Manager, Pension Investments at Abitibi-Consolidated Inc. and started his career with State Street in Montreal.
