Since its inception seven years ago, the Foundation’s involvement has centred around concrete actions and prioritizing funding projects in which it plays a central role in monitoring the investment and successful completion of the project.

Did you know? The Foundation was born from a Blue Bridge employee initiative and its board is made up of nine people (alumni and current employees) who act as volunteers and dedicate time, resources and ideas to keep it going.

Its funding comes from several sources: a payroll deduction plan, donations and a biennial casino-themed fundraising gala. Every dollar goes to organizations supported by the Foundation, whether it is in the form of scholarships, medical and educational equipment, school and computer supplies, or weeks of summer camp… The needs are great, and we are happy to be able to provide our support.

That being said, none of this would be possible without fundraising. A difficult task for non-profit organizations, it’s also often essential for their survival. To meet those needs, the Blue Bridge Foundation for Children organizes a casino-themed fundraising gala every two years. This year, it took place on November 6 and welcomed nearly 150 guests who had a great time and spent the evening enjoying some 1920s inspired tunes. Our sponsors, donors, guests and volunteers made this night a great success. Thank you on behalf of the Blue Bridge Foundation for Children.
